The purpose of Vintage Life Church is to live for Jesus!
 
Our mission is to passionately live and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, making disciples in our own neighborhoods, the surrounding communities, and throughout the world to the glory of God.
Our vision is to be a growing missional community that glorifies Jesus and lives for him daily.
Therefore we will:

    • Through expositional preaching of the authoritative Word of God

    • Through outreach in our immediate and surrounding communities

Our Seven Core Values

1. Biblical Authority

God has spoken to us through the Scriptures. Therefore, the Bible is our ultimate authority in all that we believe and practice.

2. Intimacy with God

God desires an intimate relationship with every believer.  Abiding in Christ, and walking in His Spirit, we have intimacy with God.  When we remain in Him, we have the power to live a sanctified and holy life.  We are not yet perfect, but in His power we continually practice disciplines of obedience, prayer, simplistic living, worship, Scripture memorization and Bible study to know and be more like Jesus. 

3. Authentic Community

God desires for believers to live in unity and community with one another.  Life groups (a.k.a. Bible study groups) offer a place where believers can gather to “do life” together, and where newcomers are always welcome.  They are a catalyst to transformation through relationships which lovingly engage in Bible study, fellowship, service, accountability, breaking of bread, and prayer.

4. Passionate Stewardship

All that is given to us is from God.  In response, believers are called to be active and intentional stewards of every aspect of our lives including our minds, bodies, gifts and talents, money, and time.  We will use what God has given us to serve and love those inside and outside the church with the intent purposes of glorifying God and building His kingdom.

5. Life Coaching

We want to see every believer passionately exercising their gifts in love and obedience to Jesus.  Through discipleship and mentoring relationships, effective training, and continuous education we will develop servant leaders and empower them for ministry.

6. Intentional Evangelism

We are a missional church.  All believers have the responsibility of carrying out the great commission in their daily lives.  Whether at work, school, or in the community, we are called to present the gospel of Jesus Christ to those around us with the truth of the Word, and through the examples of our transformed lives.

7. Reaching Beyond Our Reach

Believers are called to be Christ’s witnesses both locally and globally.  We desire to fulfill Christ’s command to reach beyond our community through church planting and missions.  We will plant churches who plant churches and send and support missionaries to their Spirit-directed destinations throughout the world.
